A CLOSER LOOK AT THE DESIGNS
Cherish the challenge
Meticulously hand-drawn. A throwback to my very first drawings as a child and a nod to Seneca and Aurelius. Living and working aboard ships is rewarding only because it is difficult, because it pushes us beyond comfort and beyond our own ideas of what we might accomplish.
For the lover of boats
It took me about 2 days aboard my first ship to realize that the Bosun probably has the coolest job of all time. It wasn't long before my enthusiasm brought outsourced tasks and I found myself sitting up on a t'gallant stitching some leather chafe gear back into the sail.
For the ones that push us
After about 3 days on a ship I realized everything I had to do could be boiled down to just one maxim: Just TRY to make the first mate happy. After my long first stint aboard came to an end, I passed along that happy mantra to a brand new trainee. It had served me well.
Here's what Sailors think
Annaliese Dempsey, Nautical Archaeologist
These shirts are awesome! They are super soft and the graphics are amazing, and very high quality. Plus, wearing t-shirts with inside jokes that you share with the whole sailing community is a great time.
